- There is a body and somebody put it there.

- Not of this world: colonists, black oil, abductions.
- Paranormal / Unexplained
- Psychics, ghosts, curses, hauntings, the plain inexplicable.
- Comedy
- The show winking directly at you.
- Conspiracy / Government
- Men in rooms deciding what you get to know.
Vibes
- Whimsical
- Fun, silly, unabashedly camp.
- Spooky
- Classic lights-off, flashlight-in-the-dark scares.
- Ominous
- Dread that tightens rather than jumps.
- Bleak
- Cold, sad, no comfort offered.
- Tender
- The one where somebody's heart is on the table.
- Weird / Surreal
- Rules of reality politely suspended.
Each file carries one primary vibe plus any secondary ones that genuinely apply, so filters stay generous instead of coming back empty.
The Mulder-less flag
Seasons 8 and 9 hand the basement to John Doggett and Monica Reyes. Some of those hours are superb — but if you came for Mulder, being handed one unannounced is a bad night. So:
- ▸ NO MULDER — 27 files where he doesn't appear at all.
- ▸ BARELY PRESENT — 18 files with a cameo, flashback, or partial appearance.
- ▸ Everything else: Mulder is properly in it.
The picker's checkbox hides the first group entirely. True Shuffle never hides anything — that's the point of it.
Spoiler policy
Every blurb describes the premise and the atmosphere only. No reveals, no endings, no "the twist is". You should be able to read the whole site having never seen a single episode and lose nothing.
Coverage
